Grant for Eastern African young social entrepreneurs

We are excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the second class of Acumen Fund East Africa Fellows!

To learn more about the program, visit our website or watch this video:

We are looking for 20 passionate East African leaders who are committed to developing innovative solutions to address a variety of social problems affecting East Africa. Each Fellow must be the leader of a social change initiative – either as an entrepreneur or as an individual working within a private sector business, a government organization, or an NGO – and they must have been driving this initiative for the past 2-3 years. Projects can focus on any issue, but must contribute to positive social change in East Africa.

The year-long “executive MBA”-style program is rigorous, challenging, and interdisciplinary. Fellows participate in four multi-day seminars and work together on two collaborative projects. Click here to learn more about the application process and eligibility criteria.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM (East Africa Time) on Sunday 26 August 2012. Late submissions will not be considered. Apply now or invite a friend to join the next generation of leadership for East Africa.

Also, please share this announcement to your followers on Twitter or your friends onFacebook!

We look forward to receiving your applications!
