We have built YL over a six year period, with several pilot stages, with full time commitment and not a single cent of finance.

Since 2008, the value of positive change examples and the urgent need for them for education, youth, young adults, social entrepreneurship and an active citizenry is better understood. And we receive huge demand from changemakers, educators, youth, civil society.

In order to stabilise and scale YL’s achievements, we need a few full-time staff for managing essential communication and work flows that cannot be borne by online volunteers contributing a limited amount of hours per week. Since we are working with a large corps of volunteers, our cost-effect-benefit ratio is excellent. One or two multi-skilled staff can manage an entire Edition!
